Are you planning a cruise trip on Royal Caribbean Cruise line?  You may be making a stop at Coco Cay Beach in the Bahamas while on your adventure!

Royal Caribbean’s privately owned island is the perfect tropical paradise with shining, blue waters, to soft, white sand beaches.

Enjoy relaxing on this picturesque slice of heaven, tropical drink in hand, experiencing everything from zip lines to waterparks, and a peaceful overwater cabana.

With its vibrant colors, exciting water activities, and stunning views, a stop at Coco Cay Beach may become your favorite part of your cruise!

In this post, we’ll go over what to expect at Coco Cay Beach, and things to do on the island.  I was just here and loved it so let’s get you excited for your Royal Caribbean excursion!

A great spot for either relaxing on the beach or getting out into the water for some adventure is South Beach.
If you’re searching for the perfect souvenir to commemorate your Caribbean vacation, be sure to check out the beach shops on CocoCay.
The largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean, it’s called the Oasis Lagoon pool.
At Up, Up, & Away, you can take a ride in a helium balloon and soar nearly 500 feet above the land and water.
CocoCay Beach in the Bahamas is also home to Thrill Waterpark, where people of all ages can have a blast splashing around.
There is a tram that runs throughout the island and makes stops at some of the most popular destinations.
Adventure lovers will love getting the opportunity to try ziplining while on Coco Cay. The zipline is located right by the cruise port, so you don’t have to travel far to reach it!

9. Try Ziplining

Adventure lovers will love getting the opportunity to try ziplining while on Coco Cay.  The zipline is located right by the cruise port, so you don’t have to travel far to reach it!

Get strapped into your harness, watch a quick safety video, climb several flights of stairs, and you’ll be ready to start your adventure!

There are three different ziplines that you’ll get to try as you soar over the island, with great views of all of the fun activities!

This was one of my favorite things to do on the island.  At its highest peak, the second zipline is about 90 feet high and the third stage is the longest.  The cost for the zipline is $80.

Chilling out in a cabana is a perfect way to get some relaxation on your Royal Caribbean Cruise vacation in the Bahamas.
Found over near South Beach, you can gather a group of friends, family, or others on the island to play a friendly match of basketball!

Courts are provided complimentary to guests, so you can break a sweat and then jump into the ocean to cool off.

Just pick up a ball from the rentals shack and start your match!

Another fun excursion to take from Perfect Day at CocoCay Beach in the Bahamas is to head out into the ocean on a clear bottom boat.
You can also rent a paddle board and take a more relaxed approach to exploring the teal, clear waters.
If you’re looking for a tropical drink to enjoy as you soak up the sun on the island, look no further than Captain Jack’s.
