Florida has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and the sunsets here are equally amazing.
In this post, we’ll dive in and look at some of the sunset spots that I’ve fallen in love with the most throughout the years, and I’m hoping you enjoy them, too.
From the serene shores of Duck Key to the lively Mallory Square in Key West, each spot offers its own version of sunset nirvana.
Can’t wait to discover these sunset wonders for yourself? Let’s explore!

Duck Key: A Hidden Gem In The Florida Keys
Duck Key isn’t just another dot on the map; it’s a not-too-well-known gem that’s centrally located in the Florida Keys.
This little key near Marathon is the perfect blend of tranquility and breathtaking beauty.
My girlfriend and I were staying in Marathon and happened to be passing through Duck Key at just the right time.
This shot she got from the car is a thing of beauty, with the palm trees in front of the horizon.

Awesome Evenings In Key West
Key West is famous for its lively atmosphere, and the sunsets are no exception.
Imagine a community of sunset lovers gathering every evening at Mallory Square to witness one of nature’s most spectacular shows.
You can see several sailboats in the distance, enjoying the sunset from the water.
t’s a fun experience you have to see to believe. As the sun goes down, the crowd starts to cheer.
It’s the perfect way to end a day of fun in Key West.

Marathon And Seven Mile Sunset Moments
Here’s a beautiful sunset picture of the Seven Mile Bridge that my brother took at the aptly-named Sunset Grille & Bar in Marathon.

Clearwater Beach: Beauty And The Beach
Clearwater Beach offers an unrivaled Florida beach and sunset experience.
We recently visited Clearwater Beach for the weekend during the Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival.
There was lots to do at the beach during the festival, including vendors on and around the pier, food trucks, live music, and games for the kids.
Seeing the sunset was a perfect way to put a bow on the day. If you’re looking for a place with good food and awesome sunset views, I recommend the Palm Pavilion.

And don’t forget to grab a couple of sunset photos near Pier 60!
This photo of the pier is a few years old now, but it has always been one of my favorite sunset photos in Clearwater Beach.

Nature’s Wonder At Henderson Beach State Park
Destin is one of my favorite Florida beach towns to visit, and Henderson Beach State Park is, without a doubt, the best beach to visit while here!
This state park offers a unique vantage point to witness Florida’s incredible sunsets.
With its undisturbed landscapes and an abundance of natural beauty, every sunset here is like a work of art.
The park’s expansive dunes and lush vegetation provide the perfect backdrop as the sun goes down.
Whether you’re perched on a picnic bench or lounging on the sand, the views of the horizon are nothing short of awe-inspiring.
If you’re a nature lover, this is your paradise.
There is a small fee to enter Henderson Beach State Park, but it’s well worth it.
There is lots of parking and there is camping available, a park area for the kids, and trails to explore.

Miramar Beach- Memories And Sunsets
Miramar Beach is just a short drive from Destin and is another great stop for a stunning sunset.
It’s also a popular location for weddings, and there was a wedding on the beach when we visited recently.
This is at Miramar Beach Regional Access, which is located next to Pompano Joe’s, a popular oceanfront restaurant with good food and sunset views.

St Pete Beach: Endless Sky Spectacle
St Pete Beach is located just a short drive from Clearwater Beach and is an awesome place to see a Florida sunset.
This photo was taken from the rooftop of Bellwether Beach Resort, which is currently closed due to hurricane damage and will hopefully open back up this summer.

Stunning Sarasota
Lido Beach is just a short walk from St Armand’s Circle in Sarasota and a perfect location to capture the sunset.

Key Biscayne: A Peaceful Retreat
Key Biscayne offers a peaceful retreat for sunset enthusiasts seeking a quieter, more intimate sunset experience.
My girlfriend and I recently visited here with my family, and it was an ideal spot to see the sunset, away from the busier South Beach area in Miami.
Final Thoughts
There you go! As you can see, Florida is a place to go for amazing beaches and stunning sunsets!
What is your favorite from this list? I hope that these beautiful sunset photos motivate you to get out and visit the beauty of Florida.
