Florida has several festivals to visit in the month of June

Local Summer Festivals

Monticello Watermelon Festival (June 13–14)
This beloved North Florida tradition is as wholesome as it gets. There’s a 5K run, antique car show, food vendors, and a classic parade—all themed around the mighty watermelon.

You’ll also find a block party, live bluegrass music, and plenty of fresh watermelon slices.

A refreshing, family-friendly festival that draws visitors from all over.

Wild Blackberry Festival – Jasper (June 9)
This one-day celebration honors the blackberry harvest with sweet treats like blackberry cobbler, jams, and syrups.

Held in downtown Jasper, the festival includes live music, crafts, and kids’ activities.

It’s a great excuse for a scenic summer drive through Florida’s quieter corners.

Spammy Jammy – Goodland (June 27 and 28)
Easily the most eccentric festival on the list, Spammy Jammy invites guests to dress in pajamas and celebrate canned meat.

The event features Spam sculpture contests, themed cocktails, live bands, and a whole lot of laughs.

Hosted by the quirky Little Bar Restaurant in Goodland, it’s weird, wonderful, and perfectly Florida.

Wellborn Blueberry Festival – Wellborn (June 7)
In North Florida’s Suwannee County, the small town of Wellborn puts on one of the most charming summer events in the state—the Wellborn Blueberry Festival.

The festival runs until 3:30 PM and includes live music, over 100 arts and crafts vendors, homemade blueberry pies and cobblers, a car show, and plenty of children’s activities, including pony rides and a petting zoo.

Bacon Beer Bash – Melbourne (June 14)

You can sample creative brews alongside salty snacks while enjoying live music and lawn games.

It’s a celebration of two great things: bacon and beer—need we say more?

People at a Pride Celebration

Florida Pride Celebrations

St. Pete Pride (All Month Long)
As Florida’s largest Pride event, St. Pete Pride transforms the city into a rainbow-colored celebration throughout the entire month of June.

The festivities include a Trans March, a massive downtown parade, Youth and Family Day, and a street festival filled with live music, food trucks, and local vendors.

New leadership has added even more inclusive programming and community partnerships to make this one of the state’s most empowering and energetic events.

Key West Pride (June 22-29)
If you want to pair your celebration with an island vacation, Key West Pride is the perfect match.

Events include dance parties, drag shows, the Mr. and Miss Pride Pageant, and a colorful parade down Duval Street.

Adventurous visitors can join the 12.5-mile Pride Swim Around Key West or the annual Pride 5K.

It’s a blend of tropical vibes and community spirit.
