This gorgeous Florida city is one of my favorite places to visit whenever I’m on Florida’s Emerald Coast.
 
My favorite things to do in Panama City Beach are relaxing on the beaches and taking a stroll on Russell-Fields Pier. 
 
When here, I always visit Pier Park, which is right across the street from the pier and filled with food and tons of family-friendly activities.

The beach has many amenities, including comfy loungers and beachside restaurants. You can enjoy tasty food while taking in stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico.
 
My favorite beach in the city limits is Dog Beach because it’s conveniently located next to the pier and just across the street from Pier Park.
 
As you probably guessed from the name, you can bring your furry friend to this section of the beach and let them play in the water.

Dining at Pier Park is just as enjoyable as shopping. You can choose from quick meals or fancy dinners. With everything from seafood to American classics, there are plenty of options for food.
 
Restaurants such as Pompano Joe’s, The Back Porch and Hook’d Pier Bar & Grill are perfect for seafood.
 
I love eating at the restaurants that are special to Florida but there are also chain restaurants including Buffalo Wild Wings, Margaritaville, and Dave & Busters.
 
I come to Pier Park when I want to find a gift to bring back home because they have lots of souvenir shops and Panama City Beach branded clothes.

I’ve done the mirror maze with family and that’s always a fun time.  There’s also the Sky Wheel Ferris Wheel, which takes you high almost 200 feet in the air, and gives you spectacular views of the city and nearby Gulf of Mexico.
 
If you’re trying to escape the hot Florida weather for a bit, Pier Park has a movie theatre and an arcade at Dave and Buster’s.
