With the busy season winding down, beachgoers can enjoy a more relaxing atmosphere along with the pristine beauty that Florida’s coastlines are famous for.
Visitors can expect a mix of warm sunshine and mild breezes, making beach activities enjoyable during this month.
This article will guide you to some of the best beaches to visit in the Sunshine State during October.

1. Siesta Beach
Siesta Beach, located on Sarasota’s Coast, is well-known for its powdery white quartz sand.
The beach offers excellent amenities, including public restrooms, picnic areas, and lifeguards.
Visitors can enjoy activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and beach volleyball.
Siesta Key Village, a short stroll away, provides various dining and shopping options.
My favorite part of the village was Siesta Key Oyster Bar, which serves some of the best oysters and features great live music.

4. Destin

My favorite place in Panama City Beach is Dog Beach, across the street from Pier Park.
Here, you can bring your furry friend with when you relax in the sun.
If you’re looking to get outdoors, you can explore St. Andrews State Park. This park offers hiking trails, fishing, and opportunities to spot local wildlife.
Marine life is abundant and it makes it a favorite for snorkeling and scuba diving.
Fishing is also a popular activity. Anglers come to cast their lines in the hope of catching grouper, snapper, and other local fish.
