1. Parlor Doughnuts – St. Augustine
First on the list is Parlor Doughnuts in St. Augustine, a newer player in Florida’s donut scene that’s quickly earning rave reviews.
What sets them apart? Their signature “layered doughnuts” — flaky and buttery with a croissant-like texture that’s totally addictive.
Their menu includes fun flavors like French toast, campfire, churro, and lavender honey.
They also offer keto, vegan, and gluten-free options, so everyone can indulge.
Located just a short walk from St. George Street, it’s the perfect mid-morning pit stop in Florida’s oldest city.
📍 Location: St. Augustine (also other FL locations)
🧁 Must-Try: Churro layered doughnut or French Toast

2. Donut King – Minneola
Just west of Orlando in the town of Minneola, Donut King is a small shop with a big reputation.
This place is one of my favorites and offers a massive variety of fresh donuts—from traditional yeast and cake donuts to fun, colorful creations and Louisiana-style beignets.
What I like most about Donut King is the variety. You’ll find maple bacon bars, fruity pebbles-topped donuts, and enormous apple fritters that are more like a full meal.
They also have a drive-thru and affordable prices, making it easy to swing by on your way to or from a Central Florida adventure.
📍 Location: Minneola (near Clermont/Orlando)
🧁 Must-Try: Maple bacon bar or apple fritter

Trendy, creative, and beautifully crafted — The Salty has made waves in Tampa’s food scene.
This artisan donut shop uses high-quality ingredients and constantly rotates its flavors, offering options like brown butter & salt, guava + cheese, and maple bacon.
The shop itself is sleek and Instagram-ready, and they also serve some of the best specialty coffee in town.
It’s a favorite for locals and visitors who want more than just a sweet treat—The Salty is a great experience.

4. The Donut Hole – Destin
A true local favorite on Florida’s Emerald Coast, The Donut Hole in Destin has been serving up delicious, classic donuts for decades.
This spot is part old-school diner, part bakery, and all-around iconic.
The donuts here are made fresh daily and include everything from perfectly glazed classics to rich chocolate frosted and powdered jelly-filled options.
The pineapple upside-down donut is a standout—dense, moist, and full of flavor.
And if you’re hungry for more than donuts, they serve a full breakfast and bakery menu that everyone loves.
📍 Location: Highway 98, Destin
🧁 Must-Try: Red Velvet or Peanut Butter Cream

5. Dixie Highway Donuts – West Palm Beach
A fresh face in Florida’s donut scene, Dixie Highway Donuts opened just a month ago in West Palm Beach—and they’re already making a name for themselves.
This locally owned shop focuses on small-batch, handmade donuts with a mix of classics and creative flavors that change regularly.
From light, fluffy glazed rings to indulgent options like Boston cream, Fruity Pebbles, or maple bacon, every donut is crafted with care and serious flavor.
They also serve locally roasted Pumphouse Coffee, making it the perfect grab-and-go spot for your morning caffeine and sugar fix.

6. Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew – Disney Springs
For donut lovers visiting Disney, Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew in Disney Springs is a must.
This Insta-worthy spot takes donuts to a whole new level with wild toppings, oversized creations, and bold flavor combinations.
These are donuts with personality: think peanut butter explosion, fruity cereal, s’mores, or cookies and cream—all piled high with toppings.
Pair one with their signature cold brew or a spiked coffee for the ultimate sugar rush.
These donuts are seriously so good and filling. This is perhaps my new favorite donut spot around Orlando.
